Legal Question in Traffic Law in New Jersey

warrant for failure to appear in court

Hello, over 4 years ago I received a

traffic ticket in NJ for driving with a

suspended license. I live in PA, and

have since resolved any trouble with

my license. However, I never

appeared in court when I was

summoned to handle this traffic

ticket and they have since issued a

warrant for me.

I want to know how to handle this

situation keeping in mind that the

court is over 2 hours from me and I'd

like to avoid traveling there if possible

and keep the expenses to a

minimum.

Thanks for your help.

Re: warrant for failure to appear in court

I frequently appear in court in New Jersey for out of state defendants without them having to appear. I provide them with a court authorized form to sign allowing me to appear on their behalf. I can do the same for you. You may have to post bail on this case however since a Failure To Appear warrant usually has some bail amount attached to it. I am an attorney who has handled many cases similar to yours in various courts throughout New Jersey in the past. I would like to discuss your case with you in more detail. Please contact me at your convenience. I never charge for simply talking to a person about their case. Thank you.

Sincerely yours, -Ronald Aronds, Esq.-
