Legal Question in Traffic Law in New Jersey

Is this worth a lawyer?

I was involved in an accident I feel that I wasnt at fault in. I received a careless driving ticket in Jersey. I am afraid to spend all this money on a lawyer just to lose and pay fines anyway. I have to go to court on Tuesday to let the court know if I have a lawyer or not. I have lost a lot already and I honestly cant afford to miss work. I have had lawyers just tell me they'll come to court for a 350-500 fee but I know it doesnt guarantee I'll win. I have a careless driving ticket with personal injuries and I honestly just want this to be over. Can anyone assist me or give me a reasonable quote. Thanks,

Those are VERY reasonable quotes. And the court really doesn't care about you thinking you can't miss work. If you don't believe me, then call up the court clerk and tell her you can't miss work. Tell me how it goes. If you can't afford to miss work, then don't go to the court appearance. You'll be found guilty and you'll pay the fine. Or, plead guilty. Or argue the case yourself to the judge. Those are your options. I have never heard of a pro bono traffic ticket law firm that fights traffic tickets out of the goodness of its heart. But if you find one, again, let me know.

This is about your third or fourth question. $350 is an amazing quote. Even if you had to go to the court down the block for me, I wouldn't do it for $350. I'm not really sure what you are looking for here. Either hire an attorney or don't. Only you can make that choice.
