Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New Jersey

In 2005 a judge ruled in my favor one half of my late ex-husbands life insurance policy. I received partial. The balance plus interest was to be paid to my attorney's office by 2006. I contacted the attorney in 2006 advising me they had not received to date the balance despite the court order. I was also advised by the attorney no additional work would be performed for collecting the balance owed. What do I do? The case was heard in New Jersey, I live in Georgia.

You need to make an insurance company pay you, correct?

To make this happen, you have an attorney find out what is going on, and take action.

Please contact me if you would like me to assist. This seems completely wrong, especially if you got a court order saying that you should get paid.
