Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New Jersey

401k

My son died intestate. He had a 401k with his company for about 3-4 years. Dollar amount unknown. The company says no beneficiary named and refuse to disclose any other information. Do I optain a Letter of Administration from the Surragate and present that to the company? Will that be enough? Thank you.

Re: 401k

That should be enough. They need proof that somebody is handling the Estate.
