assigning new executor
Two executors are named in a will. One becomes ill before probate is finished.Can the ill executor appoint another to serve without the approval of the first ?

No. The Will states what happens if an Executor becomes unable to serve. This duty cannot be delegated to another and must follow the Will. If no one is named successor, only the remaining one can act.
