Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New Jersey
I need help I am the beneficary of1/4 my uncle's estate, via a trust fund and a so called cousin who is not my Uncle's biological child and who was never adopted has appointed himself as the admisistrastor of the estaste. I have never recived an accounting or any possesions from the estste since his death. In addition almost all of his possesins and collections were sold and i ws told that it is none of my business what they were sold for. I have rquested an accoutning of the estate and a written copy of the amount of my share, but have never recied anything. My cousin also recnlty tod me that he took 5% of thef funds to administer them, this person is supposed to be a loving person. HA!!!!He also told me tht if i ask too many questions he will bill me $30 a hour. Alos when my Unclce ws alive he had a lg sum of moeny over %)),000 most of which was mispent fro what he claims was to take care of my unlce. He paid his siblings children $75 per hour to care for him and thye weren't even around most of the time. I have proof of what theesse inds were paid they wren't even certified care givers. The inheritance people also recently investigated my uncle's accounts but my cousin somehow got them to give him the funds in a hurry. I foud out by caling thme about this my cousin didn't even have the decnecy to tell me that the estate ws being audited. I need to know my rights and what can do aobut this pLease help.

This sounds like a serious problem. You don't say when your uncle died or whether you have recieved any part of your inheritance [or if you have already signed a release].
If you have not signed a release, I suggest you hire an attorney and file a complaint demanding a formal court accounting from the estate Administrator [your cousin].
