If a beneficiary dieswho receives his benefit

If one beneficiary of a will dies does his portion go to his heirs or is it distributed to the remaining heirs of the original will being distributed

Depends upon language of the Will. Most Wills state that if a beneficiary dies, his/her share goes to the children if any, before being allocated among the remaining heirs. If there is no Will (intestacy), this is the result by the NJ intestacy statute.
