Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New Jersey

My brother left me his vehicle (along with everything else he owned) when he died a year ago. Since then it's just been sitting gathering dust it's probated. Now I have a situation where my existing car won't go any more, and I need to drive my brother's vehicle. Is there anything the executor of my brother's estate do to "free" this vehicle for use (even if just on a temporary basis, pending probate)?

For example, can executor sell me the car, with proceeds going to the estate?

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Not to be unkind, but what is taking so long?

Yes there are a couple ways to handle this.

Letting everything sit for a year, however, is not one of them.

Call me, and I will help you get this moved.

the executor certainly has the power to sell you the car. Call my office and set up an appointment so I can help you.
