my brother passed away May 17, 2015 and my siblings and I wish to get his possessions from his girlfriend that he was living with.

Has your brother's girlfriend refused to release his property?
Did your brother also live with his girlfriend?
Was the lease\mortgage also in your brother's name?
You can always go with the police and get your brother's property.
You may need to prove that what you want to take belonged to your brother.
