Contested will

How long can a contested will be in probate? what can be done by the administrator of the estate to complete probate when both sides lawyers willnot talk settlement? what can be done when the administrator of the estate cannot afford to go to probate court trial to complete probate. case has been in probate 3 years $25,000 spent so far out of pocket as administrator and benifitary of will how can I resolve this.

How long is Probate?

A: Uncontested probate is required to be done in 12 months but there is no set time for a contested probate. Try to meet with the Probate Judge for a status conference. See if the judge will push this matter along.
