contesting a will
do i file a caveat to begin a will contesting procedure in NJ's Surrogate Court? I live in Calif and believe that the will is a fraud.

You file a caveat to keep the will from getting probated. If the will was already admitted to probate, it's too late to file a caveat. You would bring an action [Complaint] in Superior Court to contest the will.

Caveat will block probate, but has to be filed w/in 10 days from date of death or before Will is submitted . . . if after, you need to file a Complaint with the Court
