Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New Jersey
Couple have not lived together, not communicated or seen each other 15 years - but not divorced. Does he have claim to her estate when she dies? Thanks.

It depends upon language of the Will. Usually a Will overrides marital status where the couple could have gotten a divorce, but did not. I suggest each spouse retain their own attorney to be sure they have a Will that covers this.
