Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New Jersey

Can an estate lawyer and the executor of my fathers estate be forced to release the accounting of an estate? we have been requesting this information and they both decide not to respond.

I will need more information to provide an answer, but in general, yes...the beneficiaries are entitled to a complete estate accounting. If the executor refuses to provide it, then you can go to court and force the executor to produce it.
