Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New Jersey

may one of the estate's executor who is also a member of the law firm also charge legal fees in addition to receiving the executor commission which in NJ is governed by staute?

no. it is one or the other. as far as I know.

Technically, both can be charged, but usually, and being fair to the estate, only one is charged. Most attorney/executors only charge one fee.
