as executor of estate can i deduct my expences incurred in the execution of the executor even though there is a commission to the executor?

An executor's reasonable expenses incurred in performing his/her job as executor [e.g. travel, postage, phone, incidentals, etc.] are typically deductable estate expenses, and are paid in addition to standard executor's commissions.
