Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New Jersey
If executor refused to do executor duties and I was left to do them (pay bills, cancel accounts, clean out house, etc.), would it be appropriate to ask for partial commission fee?

Unless you are the co-executor or a trustee, duly appointed, you cannot claim a commission. A beneficiary or a legatee/distributee cannot claim a commission.
