Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New Jersey

My father died and left me money in his will. My guardian at the time who was my grandmother kept getting sick so she left her daughter (my mother's sister, my aunt) in charge of the money until I was of legal age. She spent the money for her own personal usage. She fails to give me any legal documents relating to the issue. She claims that she owes me $10,000. She has agreed to make a contribution of $212/month and has been doing so for three months. What crime has she committed? What legal actions can I take?

This does not sound right. Your father left you money, in care of your grandmother. Your grandmother got sick, so her daughter took over. And she spent it? Wrong thing. Could be a crime.

I am going to guess that you are probably still a pretty young person, and your aunt is hoping that you will take whatever she is giving.

Call me, I do this kind of work, and I can help you. No one should do this to their sister's child. I can explain to you what legal action you can take, and talk it over. I will not charge you any money for meeting with you.

I am in Hackensack, just down Route 80, and across the street from the courthouse.

Just give me a call,
