Has the will been probated? If not, you should file a "caveat" with the Surrogate to prevent the will from being probated. If it has been probated, and you want to contest it, you must do so ASAP [the statute allows 4 months for a NJ resident to contest a will].

I agree with Jon, and this must be done promptly, so do not waste time. If there was a prior Will, it would be helpful to your situation.

You need to move on this right now. it is much faster and cheaper for you to fight this now before the will gets probated.
