Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New Jersey
My father passaway 2 months ago and i know for sure that he left a will, and his property was to be exactly divided bettwen his 5 childrens , but months before his death mi sister move into his house and now she is insinuating that she wants to keep the house for herself , what i should do ? .......thanks for your soon replied

The answer to your sister is no. You can say it gently, but no, she does not get to move in and just keep the house.

Talk to your other siblings and get a concensus of what they think. Try to find the will. If not, anyone of the children can apply to the Surrogate's Court as Administrator. Your sister can live in the house (and be responsible for the carrying costs) until the rest of you decide what do with the house. Call my office for a complete free initial consultation.
