Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New Jersey

my grandfather died and left his assets to his grandchildren. My uncle was in charge of the distribution of the assets. How do I know how he distributed? When I asked him he dismissed me.

As a beneficiary [either under the Will or in intestacy] you have a right to an estate accounting from the executor/administrator.

If your uncle is "in charge" and he won't give you even basic answers, it's time to hire an attorney and file a complaint seeking an accounting in court.
