My grandmother promised in her will to make me an heir to her home if I agreed to move into her home and care for her. I agreed to this and moved into my grandmother's home. When my grandmother died, her will named a family fried as heir to her home. Am I legally entitled to my grandmother's home?

I would need to carefully review both the terms of your grandmother's will and the facts surrounding your move into her home. On the surface, you appear to have a case, but you will have the burden of proof to show that your mother made a binding promise [contract] and that you kept your end of the bargain and she did not [she breached the contract].

You should meet with an attorney as soon as possible and review your rights. When did your grandmother die? You need to act quickly or could face a statute of limitations problem that would prevent you from inheriting the home.
