Hell my mom died in 2009 she left my adopted sister and I money. That we could split. I received a insurance policy check in the sisters name I reached out to her to pick her check up from my house.later I came to find out she went down to the court and lied to them and said she didn't know where I was at and I might be dead.so they granted her power of attorney behind my back isn't that illegal? She kept the rest of the money in my moms bank account which we were suppose to split
