Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New Jersey

My husband passed away with credit card debt only in his name.

All of our bank accounts are held jointly.

But our home was only in his name.

Can the credit cards companies get my home?

He died with a will.

Maybe: His estate is responsible to pay the bills and the credit card companies can sue the estate, get a judgment and seek to recover against any estate asset.
