Judgement against mothers house

When my mopther house was sold we found out that my brother had a 66k judgemnet (irug 36k but he let it go) from a business he had with my dad that went bankrupt it came right out of our cust form the house is there a way of getting this back from my brother?

There are not enough facts given. However, if your brother is a beneficiary of the estate, the payment of his judgment may be considered an "advance" against his inheritance, and you can reduce whatever else he may get from his share of the estate. For example, if he were to get $100,000, you would reduce this by the judgment you paid, and only give him the difference. If the estate is short, you could sue him for the difference, but the costs of suing might not be worthwhile. If you need more information, contact me directly.
