Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New Jersey
I am looking for a lawyer who is honest and who is willing to go to bat for me.I have a deceased child who was on a well known birth control patch.Over a year ago my lawyers called and said the drug company had made their 'final' offer. It was substantial and so i agreed. My lawyers led me to believe settlement proceeds were forthcoming but after more than a year i find they have decided without my knowledge to take it back to the state my child died and stick it into probate court in order to satisfy drug company demands that an ex spouse sign release papers.I was never told any of this would happen until my case had been moved back and stuck in probate court.I was left in the dark and when i tried to find out anything,my lawyers avoided my questions and would not let me know what was happening.I have been duped by my own lawyers and they lied to a Judge by saying my case had settled and that i had been councelled with and had agreed this was the best course. The fact is i was never asked and never even talked to the lawyers. Now i am in a fix because of these 'lawyers' .I had probate stopped on my own and now am in limbo, not knowing how to proceed.I wish i could get the judge they lied to to listen to me,but am not allowed to talk to the judge.I cannot trust my lawyers to tell the truth so a am hoping some honest and brave lawyer will help me fix what my lawyers have broken.Thank you
