If your grandparents are the legal owners of the home, they have the right to leave their property to anyone they want. Their children [your aunt and uncle] do not have to be "on board."

Your grandparents must each make a Will leaving the house to whom they wish. They should have a lawyer prepare the Wills if they want to be certain that the Wills accomplish what they want. It doesn't make sense to do something like this without professional assistance just to save a little money.
