power of attorney
my grandmother passed. my uncle has power of attorney. He took a loan out on a house that had been paid off years ago and kept it in my deceased grandfathers name, Changed an existing life insurance policy down to 5k then took a policy out on my grandmother in only his wifes name. is this legal?

He seems to have violated his duties as her fiduciary. He is subject to a law suit to recover the misappropriated funds.

You gave a little bit of a lot of information. First, once someone dies the power of attorney is no longer effective. As to the other questions, more detail is required.
