If a person has no assets, does a will still have to be probated?

IN SHORT, NO. HOWEVER, THERE MAY BE ASSETS LIKE PERSONAL HOUSEHOLD GOODS, A CAR OR SOMETHING, WHICH MIGHT REQUIRE A SMALL ESTATE PROBATE. IF YOU ARE SURE THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, THE WILL NEED NOT BE PROBATED.
