Probating my mother's will after 12 yrs

My father never probated my mother's will, it has been 12 years since she died. My fathers owns a gas station, in which she was originally listed as an officer. And the deed to his house still has her name on it?

Re: Probating my mother's will after 12 yrs

Your mother's will should probably have been probated, however, I would assume, based on your question, that there were no assets titled in her name, individually. Jointly held assets, like the house, would pass to your father outside the will, so there was probably no pressing need to probate the will when your mother died 12 years ago.
