The residuary estate is what is left after paying all taxes, debts and final and administrative expenses of the estate, and after any specific bequests (leaving specified amounts of money or property to named individuals).

All assets remaining and passing under the Will, after the payment of all debts, funeral expenses, taxes, probate costs, fees, commissions and specific bequests, if any.
