Re: signatures needed

To be valid and eligible for probate without a witness being present to verify the signatures, it must be both witnessed and notarized. There is a special self-proving affidavit that can be added to simplify the probate. If this form is not attached and notarized, a witness must appear at the probate to prove the Will. If your witnesses die or move out of the area, so the Will cannot be proved, you could have problems. If you used an attorney to prepare the Will, he sould have also provided the affidavit, as it has been NJ law since the 1970's. If you need help, contact me.
