Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New Jersey

In the state of New Jersey if my mother bequethed her house to me (I am her daughter) and it was clearly defined in the will the house was mine does the executor who is my brother have the right to a 5% executor fee. The house does not have to be sold as there was enough money left to cover all my mothers' debts. I was living with my mother before her death and am still residing in the house as it is my only residence. Please provide me with the answer and the statute regarding this matter.
