Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New Jersey
I understand the reason for "an order to show cause to remove executor". I am a beneficiary who wants to file one, but everyone is telling me I automatically have to get a lawyer..why is that? I have all my information needed to go with this form and all the evidence as well...I cannot afford a lawyer and it is a minimal amount of money that is due to me...Can u help me please?

While these matters can be handled "pro se", that is - by yourself, without an attorney, there are rules and procedures that are technical and might be beyond what a non-lawyer can do. You run the risk of losing your case (presuming it is a good one), if these rules are not followed. If you have little funds, have you considered going to Legal Aid or a similar group who might be able to help you and who are staffed with attorneys who usually work "pro bono" (for free) if you qualify.
