Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New Jersey

can a will be contested after it has been probated

My mother died two and a half years ago in New Jersey. She survived my father and her only asset was a house which she left to my adopted sister in the amount of 65%, my other sister in the amount of 15%, to me in the amount of 10%, and to one only of her five grandchildren in the amount of 10%. My two brothers were left $1 each. And all the four other grandchildren were disinherited or more correctly, simply not mentioned in the will. The will has been probated and the house will probably sell in July. I believe my 2 sisters exercised undue influence over my infirmed mother to not only get the lion's share of the estate; but to disinherit the other siblings and grandchildren. I have correspondence from my mother alluding to their influence. I also believe they acted improperly as her representatives. Is it too late for me to contest the will?

If the will was probated over 2 years ago, the time for contesting the will has long since passed and you will likely have a very difficult battle trying to contest the Will now.

What have you been doing for the past 2 1/2 years?
