in NJ, if my husband dies without a will and we have two children, how does everything get split?

This is not a simple question. A proper answer depends upon the size of your husband's estate, how assets are registered (individually and/or jointly), how much you have in personal assets compared to the size of your husband's estate, etc.? While the general rule is widow 50% and children 50%, this response could vary depending upon the actual facts and answers to the questions I raised.
