is there a time limit once a will is probated,for beneficiaries to collect what was inherited to them,

for example,,,money from selling realstate

The time limit is determined by factors such as possible income, estate or inheritance tax possibilities (to prepare, file and have returns approved), how long it takes for an accounting of the estate to be prepared and approved by the heirs, etc. It can be as short as a few weeks if no taxes are involved, to months or longer of estate or inheritance taxes are involved. Interim, partial distributions can be used if funds are needed.
