Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New Jersey

Witness as an inheritor legal??

Can one of the two witnesses be a direct inheritor listed in the Will legally? What happens now that I found this out 6 months after Probate was complete and monies were already disbursed? Do I have any legal recourse to nullify or contest this Will if it is indeed ''illegal''.

Under NJ law, an inheritor can be a witness.
