Legal Question in Workers Comp in New Jersey
ankle injury caused by previous employer is worsening
i have an ankle injury that is a result of my previous employer. My foot is actually twisted in a manner that puts stress on my ankle and causes me pain and I am limping as a result. I was forced to stand in an unnatural position to accomidate my job. After 5 1/2 years of this posture, my foot is deformed and the specialist said that it will not get better. I notified my employer (at the time) of the problem and the problem was ignored. I didn't pursue this at the time because I didn't know if it would jeapordize my job, but it is now a year later and the pain is worse and I am limping as a result.

Re: ankle injury caused by previous employer is worsening
You have a legitimate workers compensation claim, but you have already lost one year off of the two year statute of limitations for filing a workers compensation claim. They should not have ignored you at your old job - you were entitled to free medical care for your foot injury from the workers compensation carrier. I would request that you contact me right away to discuss your case and see what I can do for you. I am an attorney who has handled hudreds of workers compensation claims in various workers compensation courts in New Jersey in the past. In fact I just now returned from a workers compensation court where I settled a claim for a person who injured their leg at work. Please call me at 1-908-272-0111 to discuss your case. There is never any charge for simply talking about a case with me. Thank you.
Sincerely yours, -Ronald Aronds, Esq.-
