Re: Handling it myself

If you do not have a worker's comp attorney working for you, you will get less money than if you do. As a general rule.

Contact an attorney who does this kind of work all the time. I suggest Louis J. Serafini, Esq.

973 595- 9500, office in Wayne NJ. He will be able to help you.

Re: Handling it myself

While it is possible to handle this yourself, it is generally not advisable. In order to properly address your questions, I think that it would be best to at least discuss these issues over the phone with an attorney, that way we can determine the facts and whether we can help you.

The WC carrier will not be fair in almost every circumstance, it is not in their interest to do so.

I strongly suggest you speak to an attorney ASAP. We handle this type of case and would be happy to give you a free consultation. We can be reached at 1-800-34 NJ LAW. Ask to speak to Maurice Nadeau.

Whether you contact us or someone else, the best course is to retain an attorney. The fees are generally mostly paid by the WC carrier and the increase in recvoery is almost always worth involving an attorney. Good luck.
