Legal Question in Workers Comp in New Jersey

ii will be retiring from verizon after 31 yesrs of service. in those 31 tears i have been injured on the and have recieved workmans comp. there are some other injuries(wear and tear) that i believe i still have. can i collect compansation from these after i retire?
