Re: Informal hearing? with no lawyer??

I cannot give you an answer as to the dollar value of your case based on what you have told me, nor do I think that a correct solution for your type of case would be an informal hearing. Yours sounds like a serious and complicated case, and my advice would be to hire a lawyer and file a formal claim petition so that you can feel confident that you are getting the full amount of attention to your case that it requires. The insurance company lawyer works for the insurance company, so he really can't be unbiased. If you hire an attorney to represent you, there is no cost to you up front and he is obligated to work solely for you. He only gets paid if he wins your case. The benefit of the informal hearing is that you will get some money sooner than if you file a formal claim petition. I am an attorney who has handled hundreds of workers compensation cases in various workers compensation courts in New Jersey in the past. I would like to discuss your case with you in more detail. There is never any charge for simply talking to me about a case. Please call me at your convenience.Thank you.

Sincerely yours, -Ronald Aronds, Esq.-
