If receiving w/c for an injury, can the patient visit another doctor. Is a nurse case manager necessary at office visits? Is an attorney necessary?

If you want to see a doctor other than the workers compensation insurance doctor then you will have to pay for it yourself. The insurance company is allowed to have a nurse case manager at your doctors' visits. You don't NEED a lawyer, but I would advise you to hire a trained professional to help you in your case against the insurance company. Please contact me to discuss your case in more detail. I never charge for simply talking to a person about their case. Thank you.
