Under NJ workers compensation law if you have any employees, even if they work for you for only one minute, you have to have workers compensation insurance. I have represented many people in your situation in the past, and depending upon HOW you were sued I may be able to get the complaint against you dismissed. If that can't be done, then I will work to defend you and bring a satisfactory resolution to your case. Please contact me to discuss this. I never charge for just talking to a person about their case. Thank you.
