Legal Question in Workers Comp in New Jersey
can i sue for a work related injury that required 2 operations
a year and a half ago, at work ,while bending to cut lumbar i injured my back.after consulting with three doctors, and countless test,an operation to remove half of an herniated disc was done. i started to have pain again, and after having physical therapy, and drug treatments,to help ease the pain,(which did not work)i am going for another operation. this second operation is much more extensive, and carries much more risk than the first operation.i am receiving 70% of my base pay from workers comp.other than the obvious pain and suffering, this has been a financial burden to my family. so i ask,do i have a right to be compinsated for my injurys. thank you for your time.
