Legal Question in Workers Comp in New Jersey
Switching Lawyers
I have already settled a suit. My medical was left open. I am in desperate need to see the doctor as I have ongoing pain due to my injury. I have notified my lawyer and they keep telling me that they are trying to get in touch with the other sides lawyer.
Is it possible to switch lawyers? I had another issue with my lawyer, that took months to resolve. I finally got in touch with the right people and resolved it myself. The lawyer kept claiming they were not getting a return call. I was called back right away. Any advice would be welcomed.

Re: Switching Lawyers
Yes, you can switch lawyers any time you want. However, before taking over a case I would need to find out more details about your case. I am an attorney who has handled hundreds of workers compensation cases in various workers compensation courts in New Jersey in the past. Please call me at 908-272-0111 to discuss your case in more detail. There is never any charge for simply talking to me about a case. Thank you.
Sincerely yours, Ronald Aronds, Esq.

Re: Switching Lawyers
I will assume that this is a WORKER'S COMPENSATION case and NOT a lawsuit in court. Please be very sure that is correct. You need a 'reopener' seeking additional compensation and medical treatment. Your attorney might not be pursuing this as much as could be done, I am not able to tell. You need an attorney who really does nothing but worker's comp. I am in Northern NJ and can recommend several such attorneys near here. call if you like, 973 890 0400.
