Legal Question in Workers Comp in New Jersey

What can you do if at almost the of going through waiting to get your settlement or your law suit, and because you were in an auto accident your lawyer tells you the case does not look good now you should settle for said amount of money but you do not agree, how can you handle this? I must mention because of the different things the lawyer said you feel like he is not going to fight for you now, how do I go forward with this.

While the lawyer's responsibility is to give you his suggestion of what the best course of action is, you ultimately decide how you want to proceed.

If you don't want to settle and would rather go to trial, tell your lawyer this.

The attorney may accept your decision and go to trial, but if he does not, you can find another attorney who will represent you in trial. Remember you can change attorneys at any time but you may be responsible for paying your original attorney for work he has already performed.
