Legal Question in Workers Comp in New Jersey
Worker's Comp. case Time Frame
I have a case pending resolution since 5/1/01. The case was given to an attorney for resolution on 5/1/00.
Is this a normal time frame for processing a claim in NJ ?
Thanks for any advice

It is not unusual, but you shoudl speak to the attorney to discuss when you can expect a resolution. If you treated for an extensive period of time, it may cause it to be delayed in filing and then resolution.

That seems like an awfully long time to me. Some cases are complex enough where it could take time to obtain final permanency exams and a court date. I need to know more about the case.
