Legal Question in Workers Comp in New Jersey

Original inhury was in 01 had workers comp pay then for time off, now same injury is much worse and cannot work, Can I reopen this case?

If it is less than two years since you received your last payment from workers compensation, then you can reopen your case. If it is more than two years, then you cannot. Are you sure that there was no new event that may have caused you to re-injure the same body part? If there was something new that may have caused a re-injury then we may be able to file a new claim for you, with the understanding that there may be a credit given for the previous payments of compensation you received.I am an attorney who has handled many cases similar to yours in various courts throughout New Jersey in the past.
