Legal Question in Workers Comp in New Jersey

workmans comp

i was hurt back in 2004 i had surgery on my back and for the last three yrs i have been in settlement with workmans comp my laywer got me 47k for my injury that to this day still hurts but im a older women and the older i get the worst i will get. ? is why couldn't i sue the company instead of workman comp they were at foult?

There is a bar against suing your employer in Pennsylvania for personal injuries in the course of your employment. There are very few exceptions.
