Legal Question in Workers Comp in New Jersey
Workmen's comp and losing benefits
Is it legal for an employer to send a letter to an employee out on Workman's comp telling that person that his hours have been changed from full to part time and all benefits will cease

Re: Workmen's comp and losing benefits
Generally not. However, where there is a will to deprive the employee of benefits, there is often a way that the employer will do so.....
I strongly suggest that you set up an appointment with an attoreny, (we handle these types of cases) to discuss your rights and whether the employer is violating them. We can also assist you in the Worker's Comp case and getting you permanancy benefits.
If you already have an attoreny, please discuss this with them ASAP. If you would like to discuss this with us, we can be reached at 800-34-NJ-LAW
